Koali

Antoine Bordier was born in Geneva, Switzerland, in 1963. After studying at the Passadena Art Center College of Design in California, he decided to settle in first Hawaii and then New York where he developed windsurfing boards, packaging for Pepsi Cola, watches for Timex and interiors for the Boeing 777.
In 1999, he founded the ABDC (Antoine Bordier Design Consulting) studio where he creates numerous lines of accessories. The Koali concept dates from this time. Drawing on these memories of lush vegetation and exotic insects, Antoine Bordier has elaborated an exotic spectacle combining metal and plastic materials.
As a combination of fluidity and organic strength, KOALI (the name of a Hawaiian plant) takes its inspiration from the animal and plant world.
Both complex and discrete, KOALI frames match the contours of the face whilst enhancing its personality.
